Glenwood Springs, Colorado

Visitors will find Glenwood Springs offering the "rest and relaxation" that guests and inhabitants relish. A stroll through the downtown area offers the convenience of numerous boutiquies, galleries and cafes. A picturesque walk above the Colorado River on the pedestrian-only bridge leads to the original grounds of the resort spa.

Glenwood Springs most famous attraction is the Hot Springs Pool. In the center of town, the pool is the favorite for locals and visitors to relax and have fun, especially at the close of a cold winter's day.

The facility is comprised of two pools. A smaller therapy pool, kept at a toasty 104 degrees, is a gathering place for adults while the children prefer the big pool, where the water is 90 degrees. The pools are open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Glenwood Springs' amenities continue to be a great Colorado getaway in the middle of fantastic skiing at three resorts, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and premier snowmobiling in White River National Forest, and free ice skating under the Colorado stars in the new outdoor ice arena.
