Halloween Events across Colorado

Halloween has grown larger than the one day at the end of the month where children dress up in costumes and go trick-or-treating. The whole month of October becomes a fall celebration that includes pumpkins, parties, and family outings. Take a look at some of the events taking place this month throughout Colorado.

Colorado's Coolest Corn Maze
The Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield's hosts this annual adventure on an eight-acre Corn Maze that brings smiles and excitement to all who decide to venture into the tall grass. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Sept. 13-Oct. 27 guests of all ages can enjoy the rush of winding your way through this forest of corn. Take a bird’s eye view on one of two 15 ft. towers where you can overlook all the action. There will also be horse rides and food vendors so you can make a whole day of it.

Boo At the Zoo
Make your way to the Denver Zoo October 26th and 27th for Boo at the Zoo. This family friendly
Denver Zoo will be offering trick-or-treat stations, spooky animal demonstrations, and a special night show from 6pm-9pm on Friday the 28th.  Everything is FREE with zoo admission.

Children’s Museum Trick or Treat Street
Come visit the Denver Children’s Museum Oct. 29-31 from 9am-7:30pm for some Halloween fun. All activities are included with Museum admission. Get your fix of sweets at the Treat Houses, put together a scary ghost at the craft station or check out the pumpkins at Pumpkin Hill.

Scream Scram 5K
Assuming everyone will be getting their sugar fix in this Halloween, make sure to get to Washington Park in your costume and running shoes for this 5K walk/run. Work off those calories before visiting Trick or Treat Street at the finish. Awards will be given for best costume and top finishers. The Scream Scram 5K event takes place on October 21st at 6pm.
