Glenwood Springs Festivals

Glenwood Springs FestivalsGlenwood Springs comes alive during the summer months with a range of events for all ages.  From art and music to outdoor activities and old fashioned family fun, Glenwood Springs festivals offer a little bit of everything.

The most well known festival in Glenwood is the Strawberry Days Glenwood Springs Festival, which has been running annually since 1898.  In addition to the traditional free strawberries and ice cream, the strawberry festival Glenwood Springs hosts has plenty of attractions, including an arts and crafts fair, a carnival, a parade, and more.

Other Glenwood Springs summer happenings include outdoor concerts throughout the summer during both Music on the Mountain and the Summer Concert Series.  The Tour d'Art promotes Glenwood's local art galleries, and creates a wonderful prelude to the Annual Fall Art Festival.

Looking for some fun on the river?  The Cruise-a-THONg race combining cruiser bikes, thong sandals, and a river float.  The Rocky Mountain Surf Festival is a Stand Up Paddleboarding competition with a polynesian theme and plenty of goofy side contests.

While the calendar quiets down during the winter months, Glenwood Springs takes advantage of convenient positioning along the I70 corridor and provides easy access to festivals in Aspen to the south and Vail and Beaver Creek to the east.

Take advantage of the great lodging rates in Glenwood Springs and make the short drive to these resort towns for festivals throughout the winter months from holiday events to spring break musical bonanzas.  The hardest part will be deciding where to go first!

Aspen, Beaver Creek, and Vail also offer a wide range of summer festivals that are perfect for visitors to Glenwood Springs.
