Alternatively, head to the Cache la Poudre River, Colorado’s only river to have received a “Wild and Scenic” designation.  The scenery is unbelievable, and the ways to explore – from hiking and biking to kayaking and rafting – seem almost endless.

After you’ve spent a day enjoying the natural beauty around Fort Collins, spend some time enjoying the heart of the city.  Old Town is Fort Collins’ historic district with 23 historic buildings and a quaint ambiance.  From antique stores and candy shops to a wide range of different restaurants, you’ll have no trouble filling an afternoon or an entire day taking it all in.
