Estes Park Festivals

Estes Park is a vacation destination with activities and attractions for all age levels and interests.  Not only is this picturesque mountain town close to Rocky Mountain National Park and numerous sightseeing opportunities, but it also hosts a variety of events and festivals that run throughout the year.  No matter when you visit, you're likely to find an Estes Park festival taking place.

Numerous art exihibits take place throughout the warmer months, with artists displaying works in various media and often focusing on the local scenery and wildlife.  The art festivals are complimented by a summer concert series with free live music.

The winter months kick of with Catch the Glow, a November festival marking the beginning of the holiday season with parades, carolers, visits from Santa and more. But that's just the beginning!  The Estes Park Winter Festival is next and occurs in conjunction with Winter Trails Day, a fun opportunity to try out snowshoeing for the first time (or the hundredth!).

Other fun festivals include the Stanley Film Festival, which celebrates Stephen King's The Shining and it's location: Estes Park's Stanley Hotel.

The Scandanavian Midsummer Festival, the Heritage Festival and the Longs Peak Scottish-Irish Heritage Festival all celebrate aspects of Estes Park's local culture and history with a variety of competitions and performances.

Finally, in the fall, the Autumn Gold Festival and Elk Fest celebrate Estes Park's natural attractions with the changing of the seasons.
