Just over 7,000 feet above sea level, Estes Park offers access to Trail Ridge Road, one of America's Byways, and a destination in its own right. Trail Ridge Road runs through Rocky Mountain National Park to the town of Grand Lake and offers spectacular views, frequent wildlife sightings and access to the many hiking trails that crisscross the park as it reaches an elevation of over 12,000 feet.
