Adult and Fall Photo Workshop

September is an adults only period. At the end of the month to the first of October, Chuck Dresner, professional outdoor photographer, holds a hands-on workshop with daily slide development and nightly critiques...timed for when the aspen trees change color. Please call or e-mail us for details.

Winter Activities

We are open during the winter months from December 15th through March 15th for groups of 6 or more for Bed & Breakfast which includes:

Full breakfast
Hot tub
Ice skating on the ranch pond (if frozen)
Nordic track skiing at your doorstep
Ouray Hot Spring pool pass
Our winter rates are $60.00 for the first person, $10.00 each additional person, per unit, per night.

Ski Package

We are a quick 45 minute drive from outstanding skiing at Telluride! We offer a ski package for groups of 6 or more which include lodging, full breakfast, hot tub, 1/2 price vouchers for skiing in Telluride which include a 1/2 price voucher for the Ouray Hot Springs for $66.00 for the first person, $16.00 for each additional person, per unit, per night. Retreat and Group Getaways

This winter we have opened our facility to be used as a retreat center for business meetings or dinners, church or ski retreats, or family reunions. Please call us for details.

Our success is very good for both deer and elk. Following Colorado's point system, our own control of animals harvested and private property, guarantees you a great hunt year after year! We offer a variety of hunts. All are:

Full service, providing everything except licenses, rifles, bows, and personal gear.
Five days hunting, one day in, one day out, totaling seven days.
All combination hunts - deer and elk.
Maximum of eight hunters per hunt.
Minimum of one guide per two hunters.
Price is $4,000 per hunter, any season; however group rates are available.

San Juan Ranch Outfitters operates under special use permits from the U.S. Forest Service and are licensed and bonded Outfitter #464, following strict state and federal regulations.
