Red Rocks Amphitheatre is a naturally occurring rock formation. Ship Rock and Creation Rock, each 300 feet high, combine for incredible acoustics making Red Rocks the perfect location for an open air amphitheatre that is complete unique. Opened in 1941, the site now hosts a wide assortment of musical acts from across the globe including the Beatles and U2 as well as less well known acts. In addition to concerts, Red Rocks hosts Film on the Rocks, where a different movie is screened ever week, and Yoga on the Rocks in August and September.
