Many Denver residents opt to drive to their resort of choice and stay a night or two in order to get the most skiing in and escape from the city.  Others opt to limit their budget and drive to the mountains for a single day.  Still other combine other activities, sightseeing, or shopping with their time skiing for a fun and varied weekend.
