Arguably the most widely recognizable feature in Boulder, the Flatirons are a set of five large rock formations along the east slope of Green Mountain. There are many hikes and sections for rock climbing on them. Located within the City of Boulder Open Space, this is one natural Colorado landmark that is a must see.

Take trip back to the Old West with a visit to the Snowmass Rodeo.  In it's 40th year, the rodeo features bronco riding, bull riding, barrel races, calf roping, and more. Kids will love the calf scramble and mutton bustin' events, as well as the petting zoo, mechanical bull rides, and bouncy house.  The rodeo takes place on Wednesdays throughout the summer.
