A stay at the G R Bar Ranch can provide the most exciting and unique mountain vacation you've ever dreamed about. Facilities open mid-May thru Sept. Explore thousands of acres by horseback, with private fishing lakes, at an elevation of 7,000 to 10,000 feet.

Our secluded ranch and cabins adjoin the Grand Mesa and the Gunnison National Forest. If you want to really get away from it all, spend time in a picturesque setting, experience nature, see wildlife, enjoy peace and quiet and crave something different than traditional cabin resorts or dude ranches, the G R Bar Ranch is what you are looking for.

Take advantage of unlimited fishing in nine private lakes, trout up to 7 lbs., no licence required. All cabins are near a lake with the others easily accessible by horseback or 4-wheel drive.

Our modern cabins can accommodate five to eight lucky adventurers, are fully furnished, and include the use of two horses. More horses can be rented. Each cabin has its own corral and tack room. The cabins are from 1/4 mile to 2 miles apart insuring your privacy. 		Picture of man with elk

Fall deer and elk hunting is available for archery and rifle seasons. Only a limited number of hunters are allowed. Hunt on your own, we pack out the game with horses. No ATV's allowed.
