| Welcome to the historic Alpine Lodge. We offer quaint mountain cabins and an excellent restaurant and lounge. We are open all year!
The Alpine Lodge is located ten miles west and south of Westcliffe in the Sangre de Cristo mountains, overlooking the scenic Wet Mountain Valley. There are over one hundred miles of trails awaiting you for hiking and horseback riding during the summer and cross country skiing during the winter. Dozens of mountain streams and lakes provide an excellent challenge for trout fishermen. There are several 14,000 feet peaks in the Sangre de Cristo Mountain range that challenge the technical climber and hiker; Kit Carson, Challenger Peak, Humboldt Peak, Crestone Needle, and Crestone Peak. |
| Our cabins are nestled among pine and aspen trees at 9,000 feet. We offer daily or weekly stays. Each cabin accommodates four people with two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a private bath. All cabins are fully furnished and are cozy and comfortable year around | . |
