Seeking spectacular scenery?  A drive up Boreas Pass Road will provide stunning aerial views of the town of Breckenridge as well as sweeping panoramas of the resort.  For even more elevation, head south of town to Hoosier Pass, which offers views of Quandary Peak, an attraction in its own right.  Quandary is one of Colorado’s “14ers” or peaks that top 14,000 feet.

If you didn’t bring a car or just don’t feel like driving, you can still get great views.  The Breckenridge Gondola runs winter and summer and provides both access to Peak 8 and great views of the town and mountain.

If you’re more in the mood for shops and restaurants, stroll down Main Street, Breckenridge, where you’ll be treated to boutique outlets, tee shirt shops, outdoor gear shops, rental stores, and plenty of restaurants, bars, and food carts.
