Arguably the most widely recognizable feature in Boulder, the Flatirons are a set of five large rock formations along the east slope of Green Mountain. There are many hikes and sections for rock climbing on them. Located within the City of Boulder Open Space, this is one natural Colorado landmark that is a must see.
