The campus itself is well over 100 years old, and is often voted among the top 10 campuses in the country. Beyond the beautiful grounds, CU is also home to the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History.

For those seeking to explore the surrounding area, the Flatirons are sure to beckon.  Arguably the most widely recognizable feature in Boulder, the Flatirons are a set of five large rock formations along the east slope of Green Mountain. There are many hikes and sections for rock climbing on them. Located within the City of Boulder Open Space, this is one natural Colorado landmark that is a must see.

Pearl Street Mall, a 4 block tree-lined pedestrian mall, is the centerpiece of Boulder’s downtown. Consisting of galleries, locally owned businesses, street performers, and a multitude of dining options, the Pearl Street Mall is the perfect place to take in the culture of Boulder and of Colorado.
