Attractions & Fun

Colorado Attractions and FunColorado is full of rich history and has tons of fun things to go see and do!  Multiple zoos around the state and an aquarium in Denver can provide days worth of family fun for those with children.  Check out the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs for a zoo experience that descends down the side of a mountain!

Colorado attractions are great during the summer months.  Families can enjoy amusement parks such as Elitch Gardens and the Gateway Park Fun Center or cool off at Water World or Pirates Cove, a couple of our water parks.

Explore some of Colorado’s old mining towns like Durango by taking a scenic train ride or go deep into a gold mine in Breckenridge or natural caves in Glenwood Springs.  Or look for Colorado fun and riches of your own. Head over to Black Hawk, Central City, or Cripple Creek to test your luck at the blackjack or roulette tables in our historic gambling towns.

According to the Brewers Association, Colorado is home to 6 of the top 50 Craft Brewing Companies in the United States for 2011.  Come take a brewery tour in Fort Collins or Boulder and find a beer you’ll always be craving!

Touchdown!  Goal!  Nothing but net!  Homerun!  Whatever season you visit, we have a pro sports team you can cheer on.  The Denver Broncos, Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, and Colorado Rockies can add an extra special touch for those sports lovers out there.  Go from seeing sports stars in the arena to sparkling stars in the sky.

Get lost in the millions of national and state park acres we are proud to have, including famous Rocky Mountain National Park.  Set up camp next to a beautiful lake nestled in the mountains, lay under the stars and reconnect with nature in a setting that before, you could only dream of.
