Coloradans also have a strong appreciation for their state history and local community support.  Some Colorado events include county fairs, farmer’s markets, rodeos, the Colorado State Fair. Events like Gold Rush Days in Buena Vista are organized to truly showcase what Colorado is and how it came to be.

Colorado takes pride in hosting many fundraising events to help improve the lives of its residents.  The Avon Walk for the Cure is an annual walk held near Vail that benefits the cause to find a cure for breast cancer.  In hopes of assisting local Colorado residents, Denver has held such events as a Rise In The West: Colorado Wildfire Benefit, which is an art-centric fundraiser to help those affected by Colorado wildfires.

You can also find many festivals that are dedicated to the things that Coloradans love, such as music, food, film, beer, theatre, and agriculture.  Whether it’s the Blue Ribbon Bacon Tour near Breckenridge, or Blues n’ BBQ in Denver, or the Boulder International Fringe Festival, you are bound to find events Colorado holds that you are sure to enjoy!
